Thus the Macassar ebony is sourced in Indonesia, the rosewood in santos and the White ebony in Laos. All of these species can be worked with a mat, satin or gloss finish.

Tamo, otherwise known as Manchurian ash, comes from Asia and is characterized by a design with an astonishing impression of texture. This pattern is the result of a peculiar growth and a circular porosity of the wood. Declined in Natural aspect and in a shade called KURI (satin or glossy), which means chestnut in Japanese, the Tamo gives a unique and poetic character to any piece that will embrace it.
