BRONZE
Unlike copper or tin, bronze does not exist in a natural state. It is in fact an alloy of these two metals obtained at high temperature. From Antiquity up to the Royal and Imperial styles, bronze has always been used for decorative purposes realizing its apogee in the 18th century with the universal recognition of French savoir-faire.
80% copper, 12% tin and an 8% zinc-nickel-lead melange are compressed into lingots. Once a week these elements are melted at 1200°celsius.
